laughter IS the best medicine...

Lucy and Jake have both been sick, so today after Sacrament Meeting I took them home and gave them each some Tylenol with Codeine. Lucy asked me what Codeine was so I said, "Why don't you grab the dictionary and look it up" (she loves to look up words). She read that it was a NARCOTIC used to treat pain-and she said that she would look up the word "narcotic." She found the definition and read outloud, "any of a class of habituating or addictive substances that blunt the senses and in increasing doses cause confusion, stupor, coma and death"...she looked quite shocked and yelled, "YOU gave me THAT?!!!"

Oh, that was my best laugh of the day!
