We went ziplining at Chiclets Ziplining company, near Playa Hermosa. The zip lines and platforms are built into Chicle trees, the sap from these trees was once used to make chewing gum. This tour was fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the JACO area. When you check in, they harness and helmet you. then you get a demonstration on how to zipline. Then we jumped into the back of an Indiana Jones truck and took a ride up the mountain side. We still had a bit of height to gain on foot, so we hiked up a trail where we saw some really cool things (pictures in another post). We happened to be the only guests this day...the guides we had were a HOOT and we just had a blast.
Here we are at the suspension bridge, it was REALLY high! FRom this point you can see gorgeous rainforest all around, and the pacific ocean! Our {fun} guides loved to rock the bridge to terrify my friend Nikki!
